Do I need an appointment?

Nope. Appointments are not necessary.

While appointments are not necessary you may certainly let us know if you prefer to set up a time to come in. Some frame jobs are more emotional in nature such as memorials for lost loved ones and pets and we want your experience to be as comfortable as possible. Or you might just not have a lot of time on your hands and need to get in and out quickly. No matter the reason, if you prefer to set up a time, we will work with you to make your experience as convenient and comfortable as possible.

How does this work?

Just bring in your art. We’ll walk you through the rest. 

It can be overwhelming to walk in and see thousands of frames to choose from. Don’t fret!

If you’re the sort that just wants to get it done, we are experts at quickly determining the best choices.  If you’re more the sort that wants to play around with a lot of choices or get really creative, we’re here for you too! 

What is your turnaround time?

That depends (do we sound like lawyers?).

Our typical turnaround time is about 2 weeks.  During busier times that can stretch to 3 weeks but sometimes it can be as quick as 1 week.  And yes, supply chain issues have hit us too which can impact turnaround time so we can work up an alternative design when necessary.

Need it even quicker? We will do our best to accommodate rush jobs but there are many variables when it comes to custom work that influence turnaround time.  We also do all orders in the order received so rush jobs will incur a fee for skipping in line where employees must stay longer to accommodate the extra work.

How much will this cost?

There are so many variables in custom framing we ask that you bring your art in for a quote.

With choices ranging from $20 to thousands of dollars we will work with you to find the best option to protect your art within your budget.

Can you just cut a mat for me?

Yes, but we request you bring in your art. We cut mats to such extreme accuracy that we want to measure your art to the specifications necessary for our CMC mat cutter.

Do you sell pre-made frames?

Yes, we sell an assortment of table top frames and ready-made frames. Typically sizes in stock range from 4x6 up to 16x20.

I already have a frame. Can The Frame Dames put my art in it?

Yes! We can work with almost any frame. If it needs some repair or touch up we can do that too.
