Vermont Hardwoods, based in Chester, Vermont, is a long-established company that has been kiln-drying, milling and finishing top-of-the-line hardwoods since 1979. While providing us here at The Frame Dames with some of the highest quality and most beautiful mouldings, Vermont Hardwoods also takes protecting and safeguarding the environment very seriously. Their rippings, edgings, and cut-offs are always re-used for kindling and wood pellets. All their painted and stained finishes are water based, which is better for the environment and for people too. Their wood is sourced from sustainable forests in Vermont and New England. No lumber from clear-cut forests anywhere in sight!
